Alan is correct it could shoot like 37 miles or something ridiculous. Hitler had a fetish with building the biggest guns. Some bviously postulated the size of his certain parts on this ego trip of his. I just think it is badass.

in ww1 the germans had the paris cannon. i dont know if thats the one in your sig... but the regular german artillery (the big one) was a 42cm big bertha and was none too impressive but krupp built a 21cm cartillery peice that was so massive it had a suspension bridge on the top of it to support the barrels mass. the cannon also came with numbered barrels and shells because as it fired it would destroy the barrell and the walls would get a little thinner. the shells were 12 to a barrell i believe and got increasingly larger. i think it was able to fire some 35 km which was far enough for it to shell paris from behind the german lines at the time. that is why they called it..... the paris cannon. it only ever fired like 10 rounds or something. damn it fired so far the rounds actually were like ICBMs they would fire into the atmosphere a number of miles and the shells would fall to the ground like a really massive mortar.

and this is NOT B.S.
