1. even if you dont look at the weld while welding you can get flash burn on your eyes

2. FLASH BURN FUCKING HURTS and makes your eyes swell shut and then tealtalon has to take you to the hospital cause you are freaking out cause your eyes are on fire and cant see...

3. Always wear a mask no matter how little of spot weld you have to do wear a mask......

Hes healing now. Couldnt open his eyes last night. At the emergency room till 3:00 am.

Its basically like sunburn...onyour eyes. It hurts for a day.

yeah im fine....i have a mask couldnt find it and i was just doing some quick spot welds i had done it before no problem. just looked away when i was welding but for some reason i got burnt...it hurt like a bitch but im getting better...

glad to hear you are ok good buddy

when i took my welding classes they always told us no matter what size the weld is to always wear our masks. i picked up a nice cool looking set of shades for welding from the snap-on guy not to long ago they rock the casbah
