fuckimg dead in here folks
it'a all about the beater race car that can sit for months with out touching it.
The key is not using the car you mod for any type of daily driving. The laser we have now it took just over a year to build just on weekends tinkering when we had money.(99% of the fun Imo) been to the track 3 time beat the shit out of it and 2 of the 3 times we left with drastick improvments. The last was crapy all around, too crouded to make enough passes to figure out the problems so we took it home and slowly worked out the problems. no fuss no muss and it's all been fun. I will never again have a car that i mod and is expected to do any daily driving. For the people that complian about the cost of buying two cars, i have less than 3k in to this car including the car it the best time so far has been a 12.49 @108 and has lots left in it.

I've been down that road Eric and I lost interest in a race car. I like my cars to be clean, full interior, a/c and all the things a complete car should have. My plan now is to keep the Evo running well until I can afford a second car for daily driving and what not. Then the car will be relegated to weekend duty. I'm not going to go crazy on it like I did the S14 or previous cars. Everytime I make a compromise I end up regretting it.
I understand your point..Im a crabby bastard andi just want mature people in to cars again..lol..

my car is almost a dream come true to me.
i wax it twice a week.
my myspace profile says i'm 'in a relationship' . yeah, my significant other is my car.
i'm a nut.
too bad it's going into storage when i move back to usf area to finish school, it will take up too much of my time otherwise.
