Teg started about 4am, didn't puke coolant or oil. Idles @ 3k though, taking 450 injectors out should fix that. And bolting header to cat may help some too.

Details? Did you rebuild Scott's engine or drop something else in?

Bill, ended up putting the block and head from the hatch in with the tranny from the teg.
Somehow the starter that was in the teg shorted out internally. Took a little while to figure that one out last night, hence the 4am start. We knew we had a major short when we tried to jump the car the battery terminal started to glow. Had to pull out the multimeter and start checking for continuity. Isolated the starter as the issue. It is shorted out internally, between the hot post and the case. Never seen that b4, but luckily I had the starter from the hatch, swapped out, all good.

About time one of the original teg owners of TR gets back behind the wheel...

God I miss mine...

I've been thinking of dumping the WRX and picking up an ITR. A black one. Would be like good old times with the Geo Killer, only the model I should have had in the first place.

Haven't had a b20 since I sold the black teg. It had 4 cracked cylinder walls, some in multiple places.

It's just a simple stck internal b16 with my goody filled gsr head, comptech header, itr tranny and itr intake.

Currently not running great, will try a few other things tomorrow, but at least it runs.

It's a Honda, I am sure it'll run great forever once the little things are worked out. Good luck with it.
