Opened it up today pretty good, 20 roll to about 130 ish, this thing likes to run and has long legs, 3rd pulls just as hard as 2nd but likely because stock ECU pulls power back in first two gears..until I get the TRE

Damn....you went from a Harley to a Busa? Quiet a step up in the power department. I know you'll are a responsible rider so just keep your eye out for the other drivers on the road.

I had been neglecting my bike for the past 3 months but finally got out and did a ride again today. Did 220 miles after everything was said and done. Ended up running into Charles at one of our stops too.

Tony's bike = pitching in the majors
99 katana 600 I'm looking @ next week = left field little leage.
But if I get it, it will be the fastest vehicle I've ever owned.

Walt, that Katana will likely run away from me in the twisties, they are pretty lght aren't they, I love those air cooled zook motors.

Epi, I owned a Vmax before the Harley, and a V65 Sabre in high school (about the same as a vmax, both at one time were speedkings of the bike world), the busa is a bit faster, but stops and handles so much better than those two. I only seem to get in trouble on my slow bikes. Even my dirtbike was faster than my harley, granted it was a 500CC two stroke. This is about my 12th or 13th motorycle, been street riding (legally) since 95 but riding dirtbikes since I was 13.

Yeah, its pretty light, 407 or sumthin like that, should handle really well, was more talking about straight line speed.
