While the day hasn't come, just yet, it's fast approaching. My sister-in-law just had her second kid. My brother just had his first. Various friends are trying for their first. Others are content with their current baby allocations. It's as if everywhere I look babies are poppin' out. An infestation of babies has taken hold of everyone's homes and now it threatens to take hold of mine. Hell, just this weekend Vanessa and I went out looking at new cars for her. One of the requirements? Room for a baby seat and boot space for a stroller. It was great. I pop the bonnet and check out the engine, she pops the boot and checks out the storage space. Now we've discussed the kid situation quite a bit and agreed to put if off for a while but I'll be damned if she isn't swaying over to the dark side. Her little neices and nephews are like crack to her. She just can't get enough of 'em. Hell, I'll even admit it. Holding my brother's baby is pretty damned cool. Makes you feel the need for your own. Damn. I'm just hoping we can hold off for a while longer and enjoy some kickass vactations before we're up to our necks in dirty diapers and baby equipment.

Just venting.

 

Two years?!? It can't have been that long.
Well I've got three beers ready (Nut Brown Ale, American Honey Wheat, and an American Porter) ready and on tap. I'm trying to figure out a good date for a get together so be prepared to drink some beer and play some pool soon.

Anyways, yeah, it would probably help if I don't hang out with anyone whose playing for the Baby team. Hey Zate, you're not invited to my house.

 

A BBQ would be great but sadly my house has no patio and therefore, no place to grill. All I can offer is homemade beer, pool, and television. Next get-together though, I can always bring a keg of brew though.
