Do you have logs of the hours?

If so, then I would talk to an employment attorney.

The real problem is that depending on what takes place, it may "tarnish" you as an employee. So be careful about it.

Otherwise, personally I would no longer work over 40 hrs. I would simply inform them that when they decide to pay me for the previous overtime, then they will get me to work more overtime. Otherwise, all they get is 40hrs.

Clock out @ 40 hours, and tell them that you arent working anymore without compensation. I dont think anyone is stupid enought o fire you for that since you cane asily go right to a laywer

I know for a fact Florida law,actually prob even federal law states 30 minutes of paid time (break,lunch) per 8 hour shift.

10,12 hour shifts, I *believe* add 10 more minutes for each situation.

Now as far as the OT, didnt Buba sign something last year concerning that?

when does your pay period end? is it in the middle of the week? they might be getting 50 hours on one half of the week and 50 on the other...
