The MS actually prices less than the slower models.

I had a chance to drive one at the Mazda Rev-It-Up event. I'm 6'4 and I could hardly fit in there. Depressing the gas meant hitting the brake at the same time. Pretty cool car, but I think it is meant for those 6-foot and under.

honestly epi what price is a mazdaspeed miata?

for my money, if i had to buy a reasonably priced sports car, id only buy an STi. Its practical, its fast, lots of room inside, big trunk, its fast.

otherwise id price out a new GTO. absolutely awesome for the money.

But none of those handle like a Miata. As ghey as they may be, they are an absolute blast to drive or ride in on the track. One of the most thrilling auto-x experiences was as passenger in Taylor's dad's white Miata at a Palm Bay event a couple years ago. The grip and agility of that car was absolutely phenomenal. You simply can't get that fun factor in a larger, heavier car like an STi.

If you're worried about what people will "think" about you from the car you drive, you don't need to buy a car.

Buy a car because you love to drive it and it fits the needs you have... f everyone else.

I think Taylor would be more than qualified to answer this

Buy one and give it a camoflage paint job. Nothing says macho or at least bull dyke more than a camoflage paint job.

Having had both in the family and autocrossed both, I'd have to seriously disagree.

Anyways, EPI, the Miata is a great car. At 6'2" it was a squeeze to get in at times but not overly uncomfortable. My main gripe about the car is that with the top up the blind spots are simply ridiculous. Rush hour driving in the Miata was definately not made any more enjoyable by the fact I couldn't see shit to the sides of me. As for the gay aura surrounding the car, fuck it. It never crossed my mind while I was driving it and I doubt it crossed anyone elses. It's neither a cop magnet nor a cock magnet. It's simply a fun car to scoot around town in.

The Sti and Miata aren't even close in price....... I'm sure he has a budget just like everyone else.........You could buy an Aveo and a Miata for the price of a Sti
