the problem with the car is one of the following:
ECT not wired properly.
MAF not wired properly.
Bad daughter board.
daughter board not inserted properly.

for the record that car will idle very rich when cold. all 740 programs do. if the car has 7s or 8s in it with the 740s when cold and clowns keep revving it or what not and it has ANY sort of leak at all, then it will be pig rich.
if you let it warm up all will be fine. most people don't idle their 740 programs for that long and keep starting it/ shutting it off in cold start mode.
if the sensors are incorrect there will be a problem also.
john you need to just move everything out of the way and trim the fenders / etc etc etc to make it fit, that's all.
