Spoke to my lawyer today, he has two court appearances on the 14th of December to try and turn my two paid DWLSR's into 'withheld's'. He said that he can waive my appearance, but if there are difficulties with the process it might be beneficial for me to be there and personally plead some 'ignorance' in my case.

Well after all of the delays, the judge was cool yesterday and dropped all of the points, charges, etc. I still will likely have a couple weeks of dealing with insurance and taking a class before I can hold that shiny piece of plastic with the green stripe on it.

Hell yeah, gettin there. I just signed up for a brutal 8am to 8pm ADI class for next Sunday. THAT will sure be fun. I'll be the guy in there 'i'm not supposed to be here'. I really have very few actual infractions on my license, its all paperwork bullshit and DWLSR points from getting pulled over in parking lots not even driving. I have only had two speeding tickets in 7 years, which is fewer than many people.

Congrats, but what is this green stripe you speak of? Mine has a purple stripe.
