Default Ok so found out what happened to the 4Runner

last place to do the oilchange didnt put the oil filter back on right..it unthreaded.. lol

luckily we onlly drove about 400 yards after it dropped the oil.. so no damage.. no metal in the pan.. gonna be just fine.

So now we gotta sell it cos no way were giving up the legacy... that or offer it in trade.

i dont do oil changes in my driveway.. lol.. its $20.. much easier to get them done some where else... but have to be careful with the quickie lube places i guess.

not something to worry bout on the Legacy either.. all services are covered for 3 years .. ALL of them.

That isn't the first time I've heard that happening to people I know. Thus the reason I change my own oil. Happy to hear the truck is fine. I hear the resale value on those trucks hold fairly well.

Quote from Miller High Life commercial:

"how far has a man fallen when he changes his oil with a credit card instead of a wrench?

rember friend, that dipstick also plumbs the level of ones manhood."

LMAO !!

fook yoooooooo!!

yeah the resale on it is good.. at least what we owe. It'd be great if the dealer gives us a decent trade.. even a couple of hundred under what we owe would be fine. Better than the $2500 new engine i was expecting.

Friggin' awesome quote Scott!

Anyways, I find the whole issue suspect. I'm thinking Zate sabotaged his own vehicle to justify the Legacy purchase. Damn Scooby fanatic...:o :o
