I love working iin a field where I am in demand!
Just got hired on at Shaffer Trucking for $0.36/ mile. Current job pays $0.27/ mile. That is a hell of a pay raise, and the companny is geared more towards experienced drivers so they don't have as many bullshit rules.

To put the pay scale into perspective, figure an average of 2,500 miles a week. At current job $675 b4 taxes, new job would be $900 b4 taxes.
And yes I should be home more often.

Thanks guys, been kinda stressing it till I got the good news today.
