Drink and get nekkid.

The way it has been going thus far, I would like my brother to stay with my mom while I am here by myself. At the minimum, we are looking @ cat 2 hurricane status and I pray that we get the side that pushes the water out of the bay.

I don't know what ya'll are doing with your cars, but mine is staying in a parking garage that is sheltered and it will be fully disabled. I can walk to a ride if the shit hits the fan hardcore. Let's hope it doesnt.

alright u guys seriously need to calm down.

this hurricane isnt going to crap by the time it reaches us. we'll let lots of rain, some sustained winds, but nothing insane.

park ur car in a parking garage, stay outta low areas, have some stuff to eat for a day or so. it will be cat 1 status before it reaches us, even then, it wont be that bad.

Should be great party weather though!

Cat 2 is still gonna be 100 mph winds or so. Something to worry about for me in S. Tampa. That is the latest weather forcast I got from 3 different sources. Anyway, I have a plan, and it will involve drinking alot (as most of my plans do). If everything is alright, I will get my car from downtown and head out. I just want to make sure that family is taken care of...both here and in Orlando. That rules me over all.

Based on all the stuff I've watched:

A little rain, a little wind, and some booze is all Francis will bring. All we will get is Topical Storm type shit, which is 75mph max winds. It is moving so slowly that the storm will be busted and ghey by the time it gets here. Biggest thing to worry about is the rain in South Tampa, but I doubt it will get much worse than it was last wednesday.

As slow as this storm is moving it might be much worse, I've heard 12-15inches of rain.

Ya'll do realize that local weather guys always tries to scare to the crap out of people. I guess they think it gets them ratings. From national news sources tampa is supposed to have 70% chance of rain sat. Winds sustained at 24 approaching 40 towards the evening with gusts to 60. That's tropical storm shit. You guys are all gonna be ok, now take a deep breath and go to this guys party if you want, or party somewhere else. I repeat you are not going to get washed away, however Frances will get you drunk if you ask nicely
