One word, www.eweddingbands.com. I went with a Titanium band since they are light, durable, and best of all cheap. If I had thought it through a little better I would have bought five or six of the damned things...just in case. Vanessa isn't too keen on the ring since she thinks of it as a "throw away" but tough. She'll get over it.

only thing is.. a lady told me yesterday Titanium cannot be cut off if there is every aneed.. lol.. thats kinda scary.. what if my hand swells up for some reason like i get it damaged or something.. and the ring cuts off circulation .. lol..
looking for a simple design.. brushed 8mm comfort fit with a polished indent around the middle.

Congrats Bill and post up some pics of Germany!
Billy and I both got Titanium wedding bands and we love them. Especially Billy b/c he doesn't like jewelry, but since it's so light it doesn't really bother him.
Supposedly they can't be cut off and I was quite worried about that for awhile. I asked one of our ER docs at the hospital and he just laughed at me. Turns out it can be cut off very easily. Most ER's have a diamond saw made to cut off rings. It just has a really big guard. It's always a good idea to remove the ring the second you thik your finger might swell.

I saw some when I got mine a couple of months ago that were tungsten carbide. Looked just like white gold but guaranteed not to scratch for life. Sounds pretty good for someone who is always sticking their hands into an engine bay. Thinking about going back and getting one of those. Heh, a wedding band made out of anold saw blade...who'd a thunk it?
