Glad to see you are finally doing it. I had mine out years ago and since then I rarely get sick.

LOL @ Joe. Thanks again everyone! I just got home an hour ago and all is well. Honestly it wasn't as bad as I expected. I woke up with a sore throat, and that's about it. They gave me a shot of demerol into my IV before they sent me home and it helped. Thanks for the heads up on the lime/orange Scott. I hadn't thought about it. They told me before I left today to stay away from orange juice or anything with citric acid for a couple days. At least I will have plenty of cold treats for the summer and like John said it's a good thing I'm not diabetic.

LOL No, thankfully there was no need for one of those. The O.R. was really cold though. Felt cold as a meat locker in there. All I remember is them giving me drugs, rolling me in, then moving onto the table and next thing I remember was waking up in recovery. Wasn't bad at all. They did a good job with everything.
