Thanks guys. Found today since they offered me a temporary position where I "generate revenue to pay my own salary" (i.e. sales), that may make me ineligible for unemployment. Dirty fuckers know what they are doing. If all goes well, hopefully I won't have to worry about unemployment.
Well I just got my flight schedule and whatnot for this Thursday, and the whole thing blew my fucking mind. Pulte is flying me up first class, putting me up in some $150/night business suite at the Marriott, and giving me a rental car for a day. :o I'll be living large for a day. w00t.

Yeah, employers are some heartless bastards. They laid off a bunch of people in other departments at my work, well over 100 people, but when the let them go, they sited "performance issues" so they didn't have to pay unemployment for anyone.
If they are investing that much money into you, it sounds really promising. Like I told you before, they want to make sure you don't look like Ozzy Osbourne before offering you a job.
