Atlanta Bound
Good luck on the interview man.
Before jetting out of here though, I'd make sure to do what Scott suggested. From what I remember, Atlanta traffic was a bitch. Hopefully the pros outweight the cons.

Oooh shit almost forgot that one.
Here is a quick printout from a program I have at the office.
The top portions look to about the same but look towards the bottom and you will see some interesting stuff.
NOTE: Some of this info was compiled using the year 2000. You can imagine it has taken a much steeper increase in some areas and especially housing.
Yeah the cost of living is a bit up there. I found a few salary calculators to tell me what I'd have to make to maintain my current Tampa lifestyle in Atlanta. At most, I'd have to make about $8k over what I make now. I was told this job would bump me up waaaaay over that level, so if all goes well I wouldn't have to worry about being able to afford to live in Atlanta.
Money really doesn't matter though, I just want to do something that makes me happy. Only problem is I don't know if leaving my friends and family to pursue a career will ultimately make me happy. But no sense in worrying too much now...I haven't even been offered a job. I'll save the worrying if/when they decide they want me.
Thanks for the help everyone!
