Talking FYI: TR-BQ in planning stage...

Just thought I'd give a heads up to the dawgs of TR...

Frances and I are going to be working on setting up a July 4th TR-BQ.

so clear your schedules and plan on downing some good food and having some fun...

I was looking for venue suggestions. Keep in mind we expect this BBQ to get big... I'm shooting for about 100 or so people overall.

I am thinking that maybe "Lake Park" on Dale Mabry could be one spot. Gonna go scope it this week. Also looking for neat ideas/places that maybe we can look at...

So, lets hear the ideas....

Ft desoto beach. Shelter #1 i think it is....whichever one is at the end on end. LOTS of parking huge covered shelter, beach access and grass for activities.

Call and reserve it and it would work. just my idea...

I may or may not be in FL at that time, but in any event, let me know if you need any help.

All the better then.

I vote no for Lettuce Lake.....it's my day off, I dont want to be across the street from my work ......plus there's nothing there but bike trails and picnic tables.
