Find out last week I have a 90% probability of being sent to Chicago in April for a week of Statistical/Market Research training seminars. My courses will most likely be from M-W or TH, but I'm going to stay an extra day or two so I can do the tourist thing. Curious if anyone has been, and what exactly there is to do up there.

I am from there originally but moved to Tampa when I was only five. I believe Eric (emodsm) is from there too. He could tell you a lot more. One thing you should check out is The Field Meseum of Natural History. Also you could go visit the Sears Tower Skydeck Observatory.

Hmmm, I lived there for 4 years recently....
I would suggest
- a cubs game at wrigley
- biking / blading / something along the lakeshore
- the art museum
- the aquarium
- Sears Tower
- Michigan Avenue (shopping)
There is tons to do - go browse a tourist guide at borders or something and let us know what interests you - you can get advice from there...

ther is not a better afternoon in the world than going to a cubs game! im not even a baseball fan...
feild and sience and industry museum's are both awsome.
night life is VERY good, rush and divison, is a cool area and you casn go to the org. mothers( the bar from blues brothers)
If you liek rib's there is a place called fireplace inn, i belive it's on ohio the best rib period!!!i coulkd go on and on, i have npot been home ina while.....
