whos been? and specifically Kauai .....i might be goin in a couple months

im excited! i havent had a vacation in like 2+ years weeee!!!

 

I spent fout years in Hawaii. About a month on Kauai. Kauai is by far the most beautiful island. Make sure you check out the mini grand canyon and you HAVE TO TAKE A HELI TOUR! Its mandatory

 

Only been to Maui but I friggin' loved it. Great hiking there.

what about the fishing? i might want to charter a boat for a day of game fishin

 

The charters can be pricey...but it would be good to do. However...if it came to a choice between charter fishing and heli tour...heli tour all the way!

Also whale watching cruise is cool too. Lots of whales.

 

Went to "The big island" of hawaii for a vacation - best memories are the snorkeling and hiking the volcanos. If I wanted to go back Kauai would be my choice since I hear as Al said it's the most beutifull and "tropical" of the islands. From what I hear it has far more tropical vegetation and dramatic scenery than the other islands?

 

bah what a tourist island, kahuku on Oahu has more meaning to me, but thats just me, and its not as pristine with all the junked out cars laying around and what not, but anywhere you go is going to be beautiful (unless you get out of your car on the 930 in the interior of oahu, have a fun walk )
