The worst thing it could do is break up the friendship between this girl and your ex.
If you are still friends with the ex (not too clear on whether or not you are), you may try talking to her about the situation. If you guys are truely friends now with absolutely no love interest whatsoever, she probably won't have too much of a problem with it.
