Happy birfday to the Teg
well..it finally happened today!!
the ole teg rolled 200k miles. i must say it's been one damn reliable car. only left me stranded twice (and matt once). no major failures ever.
installed Type R trans at 110K becasue stock trans had a bad bearing...and i got a smokin deal on the new one!!
other than that it's just been normal maintenece.
it's on it's 4th timign belt / h2o pump
3rd set of CV's (rebuilt)
3rd clutch
for those who dont know...my pops bought it new in late 93 as a 94 model. in 96 I got it off him with 32k on it. and i've driven it ever since. used to be driven VERY hard. raced every saturday etc... used to have a competition winning sound system...sponsored by MB Quart. with 141 dB out of 2 12" JL w3's , McIntosh Amps, Alpine deck. and was invited to show but not compete at the 1999 IASCA world finals in Greenville NC. the same year it Won 2nd in it's class (integra conservative) at the NOPI Nationals in atlanta (over 50 cars in class)
the one thig she never really was ...fast. no matter what i did it never went faster than a 15.0 @ 91. stereo in, stereo out...dyno tuning ect...15.0 @ 91
well she aint what she used to be....probably 30 HP down from the glory days thanks to all the miles. and desperately in need of a wash and wax. but she still starts almost every time (starter is worn out...and soemtiems it takes 20-30 tries before it actaully works) and usually gets me where i need to go without drama.
thanks Honda...you get a big thumbs up in my book.

I always liked your Integra Scott. I remember when you drove that car out to the races every week. Cophers, 28th street, and 34th street on Wednesday nights etc... LOL John had his Integra back then too. Tea & Crumpets had a busted ass old school Integra back then too. Anyone remember that?
