Picture it: It was yesterday around noon time. Rocky and I went on a fateful parts run to Ferman Acura and then to Pep Boys to pick up another engine stand. This is where the light ended and the darkness began surrounding me from every direction...
Enter aisle 3...
I look to my right...nooo! Stunned I turned left...nooo! There they were filling the shelves like sand fills the beach. Altezza tail lights...filter on a stick intakes...Type R emblems...SiR stickers...stupid gay ass gauge bezels...ugly replacement gauge clusters...cheap looking shift knobs...and finally...STICKERS IN A CAN!!!! Folks Im not exagerating even a little. Now any uneducated 16 (sorry for stereotyping) year old kid who just got his license can walk in innocently enough to Pep Boys and become Uncle Ben himself. Its horrible...its a blasphemy...its the undeniable truth:
RICE HAS BECOME MAINSTREAM AMERICA
Hold onto to your clear corners folks...it only goes downhill from here...

i saw it the other day when i got my new air filter.. isuccumbed to the dark side and bought the blue conical filter.. im sorry sir...

Reminds me of the old days. Flourecent colored double windshield wipers...stick on graphics of snakes busting through your body panels...plain smoked headlight covers... (of course the modern carbon fiber and projector look not included

oddly enough the single pepboys here in lakeland doesnt have any intakes or lights...they have the neon shift knobs rice key chains guages and some seatbelt pads...not alotta stickers tho..mainly generic type or domestic ones...
i must admit i do have discount auto parts pedals and some hyper white bulbs..but hey they look nice and are brighter than the 7 year old bulbs that looked really dingy...and i realize that NO they dont add 50 HP per sticker...hehe
oh and my corners came clear STOCK muhahahahahahahahaha
