The rattling you are hearing is probably the tension bolt for the timing belt flopping around...unless the motor got messed up, why not just fix it and ride out?

is it possible that the tensioner bolt can come loose on its own?ive been tryin to figure this shit out and its buggin me so bad i dont even want to bother with it anymore...also it only makes the noise when the belts gets loose so thats probably the problem....i appreciate your input im gonna look at it and see what i can do....but if the right deal comes along i'll get rid of it...
thanx
