2004 S2000 - Cheap
Okay, since my last thread didn't get too much action, I decided to go ahead and put my S back to stock.
I'm looking to get $12,000 OBO. Reread that, OR BEST OFFER.
I'm very open to trades also if it meets my criteria. It MUST have A/C, P/S, POWER LOCKS, AND POWER WINDOWS. Or possibly a bike, but be prepared to have a MINIMUM of 6K to add on top.
I'd prefer CASH on top of any trade I get, but I'd possibly consider a straight trade for the following; E46, E36 M3, very clean E36 very, A4, GLI/GTI, S60R, etc. Most likely I'm going to tell you to add cash on top though since cash is king.
Now onto the car;
It is a 2004 CLEAN TITLE S2000
Current mileage is 101,9xx, and that WILL climb since this is my DD.

Current mods;
- INJEN CAI
- DC HEADERS
- INVIDIA Q300 EXHAUST AND TEST PIPE
I'd consider dropping the price on the car even more, IF you pay labor costs AND have the stock part ready to replace it.
Overall the car is trouble free, doesn't leak water, doesn't pull, doesn't make weird noises, doesn't hesitate starting etc.
There are a few issues though that I will mention;
- The top DOES have patches. They're ugly. On the bright side, they DO NOT leak. I would leave the car out in a storm, and not be worried. The top functions 100%. It opens and closes smoothly and quickly. The latches both work and seal.
- The front fenders do have a slight pull. This wasn't purposely though. The previous owner had the car on 18" WORKS that didn't fit correctly. On the bright side of this though, the rear fenders are cut. If you know S2000's you know that rolling the rear fender is a gamble. The rear quarter can buckle, and do all kinds of funky shit.
- The front bumper will need a respray. It previously had an OEM V2 lip which was lost on the highway. It also is just banged up in general from being as low as it used to be.
Now onto the pros;
- I have an almost complete history on the car. Original window sticker, original warranty info, receipts for tires, oil changes, owner's manual, etc.
- The interior is VERY clean for the car. Minor driver bolster wear, but that's it. The rest of the interior is near mint.
- Only about 11k miles per year were driven on the car.
- Accident free, all body panels have VIN stickers intact.
I'm trying to be as upfront as possible with the car. You probably won't find another AP2 S2000 for the price I'm looking to get. I've factored in the minor aesthetic issues with car and believe this is a VERY reasonable price. Please also keep in mind when offering a trade, the car will need to be of higher value than what I'd be willing to take in cash.
