I'll be completely frank here, it's not a looker, it's not fast, it's loud and the interior is pretty badly beat up. But it runs strong, and would make a good work truck or DD for someone looking for cheap transport.
I've replaced the fuel pump, and filter recently. It's got new headlamps and tail lamp bulbs, and a new battery.
It idles high unless in gear. It needs a new IAC, it's a $25 dollar part that takes all of 2 minutes to change, but I've been too lazy to change it. Also, it needs a new turn signal switch stalk, the current one broke. That's an $90 part from LMCtruck, as I recall. Signals are still usable, but the wipers are connected to it too; I've just been pulling the fuse for the wipers as a work around. I bought a switch to wire in for the wipers as a quick-fix, but again I've just been too lazy to do it, since it didn't bother me that much.
On the plus side, it does have a CD player and a generic speaker box behind the seat so you don't have to listen to just the engine. A new muffler and tailpipe would cure the noise, but I never cared enough about it to fix it. It doesn't have AC, that's probably the biggest downside. I've priced the components from local junkyards, as well as new parts. J/y parts would probably run $150-$300, assuming it'll be a DIY job. Body is straight, The title is clean.
I'd like to have $650 for it. I've got three other cars in the driveway and I want this gone.
Trades considered:
SAFC + cash, Wideband (Preferably an innovate w/gauge or a UEGO) + cash, or firearms. (I'll also consider quality rifle optics or an EOTech holo.)
