FS: 1997 Honda Civic EX Turbocharged
Up for sale is my turbocharged 1997 Honda Civic Ex, I bought the car mostly stock for a daily driver but ended up modifying it instead. I will be graduating from college soon and will need to travel for work so I am looking to consolidate to one car and having me reluctantly put this car I’ve put a lot of work into up for sale. I have photos of mostly all parts and modifications to the vehicle and will answer any questions you may have.
Engine:
Built D16 engine with approx 3,000 miles since it was rebuilt, I do have pictures of assembly.
D16Z6 Bottom end bored 20 over with FJC custom length rods, Teflon coated Vitara pistons
D16Y8 VTEC head with cometic head gasket, ARP headstuds, gasket match port and polish
Cast manifold with Air Research turbo off an older Saab, rebuilt the turbo before install
Custom made downpipe which is AC/PS friendly (AC has been removed but can be put back on) 2.5” connected to Apexi N1 catback exhaust system.
New timing belt, water pump, tensioner, oil pump, oil pan, distributor, wires, and plugs
Custom “Signature” brand catch can system installed with AN lines off valve cover and PCV delete for can drain back. Valve cover and catch can powder coated to match.
Greddy Type-S knock off BOV, Emusa wastegate, Fluidyne radiator
Tuned on ECTune (not mail order) set to 17lbs of boost, also has boost by gear (7lb in 1[SUP]st[/SUP] gear, 12lbs in 2[SUP]nd[/SUP], 17lbs remaining gears. Also has adjustable two step ability.
Zeitronix ZT-2 boost gauge, AFR display as well as data logging ability.
Energy Suspension engine mount inserts as well as new axles.
Lightweight flywheel, Competition clutch stage 3 pressure plate and full face stage 3 disc
Suspension/Wheels:
Skunk 2 front upper control arms
Function and Form Type 1 coilovers
Drag DR-29 15” wheels with Neo-Gen tires.
Cosmetic:
Car is plasti-dipped gunmetal grey, car color is black under plasti-dip
Integra driver and passenger seats
Pioneer head unit with Aux jack, CD, and USB port for iPod hook-up
Oil pressure gauge mounted inside drivers AC vent
Black housing headlights with HID bulbs
Rear mudflaps (front’s don’t fit properly with car being lowered)
The transmission has a small grind when putting it into third gear due to synrcos going out, however I can include a replacement transmission with sale, the car still drives and made a trip to Gainesville and back without issue so it doesn't hinder performance of the car.
I am located in Tallahassee, looking for $4,000, I have friends in Tampa that have seen the car and know what it can do.

I'd easily say 280whp, local dyno here has had an issue with slipping cars clutches so it could pull clean yet it holds fine on street and track. At Gainesville IFO in Nov it ran bracket racing so dialed it in at 14.05 at 104.2MPH with a 2.46 60' time.
