FS/FT: VW Jetta Stanced
Alright up for trade/sale is my 2000 Jetta GLS MK4. She is a 2.0 N/A, has 268 street cam, 02J transmission swap done by Dave @ EuroTech Racing *best gears for a 5-speed* This car was owned by Dave himself, so it was well taken care of by him and upto date on all services. I kept up the services changed the oil with Moly Libro Full Synthetic European Oil every 3000, your supposed to change every 5000 miles but I always have changed 3000 on all my cars. The miles on the motor are around 80k, with the timing belt and water pump done 10k miles ago along with the cam. The exhaust is a full header back with test pipe, Sounds mean with the cam, not a huge lobe but very aggressive. When engine breaking don't be surprised if it shots a flame here and there.
Now on the body:
Fist off it has REAL GLI front and rear valances*lips* Also has M3 Side skirts*not my cup of tea but I like them better than the GLI sideskirts* Has a rare Ottenger rear roof spoiler and rare VR6 trunk lip. I installed European headlights, complete with working city lights, fog lights and 6000k low beams. For rear tail lights it has 04-04.5 RWRW factory lights, I also installed a European Rear Fog Light. Also installed is a real VW roof rack with a real TREK attachment*also hard to find*
I had the whole car Plasti-Dipped, if your not familiar with Plasti-Dip it's a temporary paint solution. It looks good and lasts years, it's very durable but can be easily removed without harming the original paint. In fact when it's removed it actually pulls all impurities from the paint, so your paint looks like you just clay barred and waxed it! If all goes well with a good offer and you don't want the plasti-dip I can help you remove it as it takes less than 30 min to remove it from the whole car!! IF YOU LOOK AT THE LAST TWO PICS IT IS WHAT THE CAR LOOKS LIKE IN FACTORY REFLEX SILVER
Wheels:
The car is sitting on BMW Style 5's 16x8. They are 5x120 but are placed on adapters, 20mm in the front and 30mm in the rear. The brakes and rotors were just done not to long ago, 20k? The tires are also not too old, about 85% tread in the front and 90% in the rear. The tires are Toyo Versado LXII Luxory Touring 215/50R16. I also have a 5th Style 5 for a spare, but haven't installed a tire.
Interior:
The seats are newer black cloth, the only negs are the fabric is coming off the door cards and the fabric is off on the sun roof visor. I planned on replacing them with a plaid fabric, but with my work schedule I haven't had time. You can actually get two front door cards for about 25 bucks each and the interior will look mint! The A/C blows ice cold and was just serviced, also has hot heat! I installed a complete interior LED's, so at night you turn the lights on it turns night into day inside. Also installed is a Passat GLX overhead console with built in mic for bluetooth. It has a JVC bluetooth installed, I haven't hooked the Passat mic to it yet so it's using the JVC mic instead. Still has stock Monsoon Speakers which sound amazing for how old they are. Also installed is a Infianty Baselink 200 watt RMS Class D powered 10 inch sub, not extreme in lows, but makes the car sound amazing with tight bass.
Extras:
I have a set of VW OE CV axles, and a rare 16v KR head*bolt on 30hp*!
Cons:
The passenger side CV needs replacement*hence the extra set of CV's* The ABS light is on because of this, I haven't had time to put in the new CV's and honestly I'm more paranoid than anything as you can only hear the inner bearings because of a tear in the inner CV boot. Also has a CEL because of the test pipe, I have a O2 spacer to clear the code but again because work I haven't had time to install the spacer.
If you want to have a mechanic to look the car over he can confirm everything I stated.
Things I am looking for are VW/Audi/BMW for trades, I grew up and away from Honda's so I don't want your Honda, unless it's a S2000 lol What I am looking for honestly is a TDI, I drive probably 120 miles a day and work 7 days a week. But will consider almost any European car, and no I don't not have cash to put on top, I want a straight trade thank you.
