I currently drive an auto 96 subaru legacy L 2.2L with about 140,000 miles. I take really good care of it and just had it serviced. No bad news, drives good and runs strong. Always have changed the oil and filter every 2500 miles. (and yes it has awd) its not very fast but it gets the job done for a 2.2 sohc. I am the second owner of this car and she has been good to me for about 5 years. decent on gas and interior is damn near perfect. As far as the outer cosmetics, it's somewhat in the same boats as your civic. Only the passenger side has a missing mirror. If you are interested, let me kno and i will send you the picks. Overall a really clean car and has kept its paint pretty decent.
