Default FS: 1992 Toyota MR2 N/A 5 spd

UPDATED 2/14/11

Well, I REALLY hate to let this thing go, but i think the time may be coming around just to move on...
This is a CLEAN, UNMOLESTED car. I honestly searched for about 6 months and ended up driving all the way out to melbourne to pick it up (and had a toyota dealer inspect it before purchasing) because it's so hard to find a clean one. body panels are not all dented and bent out of shape, hood and headlight fitment are incredible. Paint is pretty fresh, only 2 years old, just recently gave it a thorough wax. Paint shines great! i get endless compliments on how good/clean the car looks. T-tops don't leak. Car DOESN'T burn oil or leak any fluids of any sort. Starts and runs amazing!! Idles around 750 rpm on a cold day (~55-60 degrees) and is sooo smooth. This has been my DD for the past year and a half or so and has never once given me any sort of issue. Motor has 80k on it (it's a JDM clip motor, not the original one that was in the car), 15k since the tune-up at the end of '09. As for mods and recent history:
Front brakes, Thermostat, water pump, timing belt, distributor, cap, rotor, plug wires, tensioner and idler pulleys, valve cover gasket all replaced, along with a full coolant change (flushed quite a bit) and a trans/diff fluid change (Redline MT90) all at the end of '09
Mid '10 i got the a/c compressor replaced and installed, along with a fresh refrigerant drain/flush/refill.. A/c works but the compressor needs to be mounted back up (got a quote for $80 to get it done, just REALLY don't want to deal with that shop anymore). It's still hooked up to the refrigerant lines and everything, just loose and needs to be re-mounted. Belt is removed right now but almost brand new.
The end of '10 i replaced the tie rods, along with having an alignment done, fuel filter, rims and tires (15x6 with 205's up front and 15x7 with 225's in rear, all Dunlop SP Sport 8000 tires with great tread) , Alternator (100A with lifetime warranty), and installed an aftermarket header and downpipe with a stock muffler (GREAT sound- throaty and powerful, but still VERY quiet! Near silent at normal RPM's, but if you get into it, over 3000 or 3500, it starts to roar and pulls HARD.) Other various aftermarket: Turbo center storage bin, OEM foglights with silverstar bulbs, TRD shift knob, LED bulbs in gauge cluster, JDM a/c unit, Turbo rear strut X-bar, Silverstar headlights. AND i have a different muffler, a white turbo engine lid, a set of 4 rims and tires (1 rim is bent, 2 tires are about 40%, 2 are about 70%), t-top bags, among other things that i would include with sale. Car has ALPINE Decals due to the all-alpine system that i have in it. I'm almost sure i won't get anywhere near what said sound system is worth if i include it with the car. So i plan on selling the car without it. If you want it with the system (includes iva-w205 double din indash touchscreen DVD with nav, ipod hookup, etc etc, 10" type r sub in custom MR2 box, 600w alpine v12 sub amp, 5.25" type s coaxials in rear, 6.5" type r components up front, PDX 4.100 amp for highs, 8ga power and ground on sub amp with capacitor, 4ga on highs amp along with all rockford fosgate RCA's. System sounds INCREDIBLE in this car) count on $800 extra. Or i will sell the system separate for $1000. Either way, this post is for counting on selling the car without the system.
Any questions email on here, or TEXT again that's TEXT me at (727)505-6591.
This is such a great, reliable, and fun car. It really pains me to see it go, but it's just not really practical for me to hold onto any longer. i thoroughly enjoyed the time i had it and want it to go to an owner that will enjoy it as much as i have.
CURRENTLY ENTERTAINING OFFERS!! Since i have to list a price, i'm gonna say 5k OBO. Considering the mods, condition, what i'm throwing in with the sale, and how hard it is to find a clean one nowadays, i think that sounds fair. MAY BE OPEN TO TRADES! BUT ABSOLUTELY NO HONDA/ACURA!!! And trade absolutely MUST BE MANUAL! No automatic crap. REALLY LOOKING FOR A '00 OR NEWER VW TDI! I have cash to throw on top depending what you have. But hey, shoot me an offer! Let me know what you've got or what you think, but please, no flaming. If you don't have anything nice to say please don't reply. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Too Long; Didn't read:
Mileage- 80k on motor, 240k on chassis, both have new parts (15k on tune-up- timing belt, water pump, thermostat, all fluids changed, etc)
Paint- Great shape other than obvious blems
Running condition- 10/10 100% flawless- DD for over the past year, put 25k on it in that time
Interior- 9/10 (only flaw is common tear in drivers seat- no cracks in dash or any missing trim or anything, carpet is mint)
Exterior- 8/10 (other than obvious blems)
Needs- NOTHING!!! I would trust this car to run flawlessly for years to come with nothing but routine maintenance (basically just oil changes, brakes, and tires. Everything else is good for another 80-100k or so)
Asking price: 5k obo open to trades (NO HONDA/ACURA, MUST be MANUAL, really looking for a 2000 or newer VW TDI, can add cash depending on trade)
Phone number: (727)505-6591- text preferred
Email- LMP9002002@yahoo.com

It doesn't idle high, that pic was just taken literally just as i was starting the car on a cold day. It usually idles around 800.
