Nice gear and a decent price bump for you. I am self employed and i love it!

 

I know I would lOve to do it full time but my wife would kill me for leaving publix. I get fed for free every day, awesome benefits, kick ass retirement, and they GIVE me stock and let me buy more, plus food industry is a guaranteed job. All that and making 20+/hr when I want to, I'd be stupid to leave.

But being self employed is great, I will say that. I'd rather do it than what I do, but I gotta think about the future. If I can't sell the stuff I will continue to do lawns part time, but if it sells I'll have another toy!!

I know all about the stock options with publix a friend of mine has worked there for about 15 years. Publix is a great place to work, if i would have gotten a job there in highschool like a few of my friends im sure id still be there. But ive been working for myself for about 8 years now so it would be hard to go to a regular job and have a boss. I dont blame you at all. if i was in your shoes id keep my ass at publix and know i wont have to work till the day i die like people like myself will have to.

 

Yeah, if I didnt have a 3yr old's future to worry about and a wife with a brain telling me all of this too, I would be out cutting grass working for myself loving life. The freedom you get working for yourself is almost worth it, if I worked for any company other than publix, I would be working for myself right now, but I just can't leave.

If the stuff doesn't sell I will keep it and continue to work on the weekends, because just working on the weekends has been paying my truck payment, and mortgage payment, so it's like my paychecks from publix just go into savings. lol

 

Had an offer of $5500 cash, may let it go for that. We'll see.

 

Guy was full of shit, trying to scam me and send me $8000 and said the money will be in my account after I send $2000 to the "shipping company" HAHA, some people are just too damn much. lol

Any mustangs, or honda/acura trades?? Yes, I know it's weird, but I love domestics, and tasteful imports. I've had my share of both, along with everything else in the book.. haha
