there's a brick ton on there i didn't get charged on, a lot was list prices from their computer; not what they charged on the complete project. i don't have a few months of weekends with my buddies in the driveway and garage to do projects like this anymore. i have a real job. luckily, i can afford to have it done by professionals. i'm starting another project, hence this one going up.
i invested a lot of money, but in turn i have a car that is stupid fast, and starts idles and drives like shes stock (if kept out of boost). i get a hair under 30 mpg's if i'm not gettin on it. that's what i wanted. you can hate, but i promise, i don't have near half the problems with my cars that most people here do.
the GSR motor was from ACURA. not somebody else's GSR. that was my choice, obviously more money, but brand new from the factory is piece of mind. plus i was able to get some extra goodies in the deal. i could send some of the photography in along with just a parts list and detailed build description and this car would be in magazines. there's no denying that.
and i really hope somebody who paid for a sticker with the word "ho" misspelled didn't just tell me i got ripped off... top names on everything, no OBX parts or cheap sh*t. don't get so upset i did my project different than you did yours.
