1989 GMC Jimmy 4X4 4.3L 2dr auto. Will Trade - $1800
The Good:
Auto, 4x4, power windows, cd player, factory air suspension, decent 33x10.5x15 mud tires, 5th wheel tail gate bar, raised up a few inches I believe.
The truck has 220k but it also has a 4.3l motor that was cleaned up and tuned up a year or so ago. Everything but the internals were cleaned and replaced. It has newer pads, plugs, wires and all that little stuff.
The Ac was working fine untill the charge died. Not really much rust on the truck either. In the end its a solid truck that I have been driving for a year with no issues what so ever. The truck runs really really smooth and quiet. Starts up every time you try, never sputters or clunks.
The Bad:
Drips a little oil here and there. Needs a control arm bushing but it doesnt really effect to much. Probably could use a tire down the road. The roof has some small little rust holes in it that dont leak. Its missing little things like a headliner (10.00 LKQ), interior plastic pieces, seats have some rips in it, when the ac is on it leaks from the defrosters so a vaccume line is loose and the temp guage stopped working acouple of months ago but it never heats up. I check the fluids and there always good. The paint also has marks where the decals use to be but I can get some red vinyl to cover it. Just been putting it off.
Price: 1500 FIRM
I looked around and 2.6l non-4x4 blazers and jimmys sell for this. I know this truck is worth 1800 all day.
Awesome mud truck project and you can daily drive it while working on it.
I drove this truck from St Pete to New Port Richey every weekend with no issues.
