So $2 grand no, not even close bro.
I'm not even going to get into it with you on this topic any further than this post, man.

I owned an Automotive Upholstery Shop. I know what it costs to make that interior right. I know it will take $2k or more; IF you can get a Kit from Roadwire or Katzkin for the seats (Front & Rear). If you have to have the upholstery completely redone one-off by an uphoslterer, you can almost call it $2k on seats alone to be done in GENUINE Leather; not vinyl.

That interior is in need of far more than "one seat" repaired for me to put my wife & daughter in it. That shit looks BEAT. Carpet is filthy, and I'm not going to waste my time shampooing it, I'm going to replace it with brand new, quality parts. OEM pre-molded carpet is going to be $400-500 installed. A "kit" for the upholstery (if available) is going to run between $1200-1400 depending on if you go with double/french seam, full leather, or leather faces only and vinyl sides/backs, etc. The dash is going to run about $175-250 for a full redye of it and the console. Again, I'm not going to be going w/second-hand bullshit and put MY family in it.

So no need to call me an idiot, when I know more about repairing that interior than you will ever know. Get quotes; I dare you. As a matter of fact, I already have a quote (in my PM's) from a very reputable upholstery shop on this very forum (MCOR) - who reconfirmed my estimate of repairs.

So, sorry for you, but it just needs too much work for me to buy it - especially from someone touting around calling people idiots when they were interested in purchasing the vehicle. So I'll gladly spend my cash elsewhere GLWS.

Honeslty from what you wrote it seems like your looking for a meticulously maintained 1 or 2 owner truck. this thing has 165k miles and 10 years of average wear on it and its not even worth dropping 2k into on reconditioning the interior, for alot less you can make it look decent and dailyable. You should be in autotrader or something looking for one that was better maintained becasue it looks like your willing to spend the $$ on a nicer truck.
