yea but you cant quite say you were in fear for your life if you catch someone ripping out your stereo unarmed and if you were to shoot them youd have a better chance if you empty the clip completely so it shows that you were truly scared for your life and did everything to stop them...you cant just put a round between theyre eyes and stop...lol someone correct me if i am wrong

Pretty sure if you got them between the eyes it would be ok if you knew they were gone after that. And the unarmed thing. They dont have to be armed, you went out there the see what the comotion* was and saw him, confronted him, and he tried to attack you and take your gun... Pretty good explaination on life being in danger. Dont think there is a rule on shot fired number... Just no back shots, and life in danger. Believe me, its alot diff, when the gun is in your hand and you are face to face with the person. I also know how it feels to have a gun to your head, not fun either, and ill tell you one thing, I didnt try to struggle or fight. I sat like a baby and waited for them to leave.

Best idea is to keep them at gun point and wait for the cops, will be a huge investigstion if you actually shot someone, also, you might think you can, but untill you have takin a human life, you would have no idea how hard it is, especially over a couple thousand dollar honda...
