It definitely doesn't take 20g's to build a fast subaru. Maybe if you NEED to be in the 650 range. But I'm in the process of building a 2.5L sti swapped bugeye which is going to be making around 300awhp and I'm only 3g's deep.

 

yea? i drove a stock 07 sti at mastro, they seem to be pretty quick. i want a fast car, I have the money to put in to it, I just dont know what its going to take to get there.

 

I quite haven't decided if I need a truck. I WANt a truck, just haven't found something that blows me away. Your truck would be in my dw if it had a 6.0 in it. Those things are torque monsters.

Yeah the sti's are where its at. The WRX is a great starting platform though. Especially if its unmolested.
