87' mk3 Supra
-Decent paint(original Ice Blue Metallic) everywhere but hood and bumpers.
-Nice interior, only a very slight crack in the vinyl on the passenger door.
-A/c is all there, and sort of works, but the clutch slips in the compressor so it is very loud when a belt is on and isn't worth it, so consider the a/c MIA.
-Power mirrors, windows, locks(all the usual Supra stuff)
-It's an 87' hard top, 5 speed. So it's the lightest of these tanks.
-Saw blades which have been stripped on the face so they are semi-mirrored. Fronts are meh, and backs have lots of tread.
-There is ZERO rust on the car. I am the third(technically 4th) owner. The car was sent to NJ to be privately owned by a dealer(so it has headlight squirters), but was then immediately brought to Arizona to be owned by some girl until the previous owner bought it in I believe 1991.
-It has 143/144k miles on it currently. I got it with 136.8 or so.
-It has a DDP with 3 1/2" exhaust to the second cat(1st is gone). The car is VERY quiet.
-It has a few other minor upgrades, but it mostly stock, pushing 7ish pounds.
-Has a brand new timing belt and water pump.
Bad:
-Car has a knocking/tapping sound in the range of about 2000-2200 rshared_pm. Fairly certain it's in the top end, because the PO replaced the old head with a "low mile" one from Japan. It's been like this since I purchased it. Was afraid it was rod knock at first, but the car has not blown up, nor it is very loud or there at all times. Only seems to be there in nuetral and 1st and 2nd. I've heard of this problem being something to do with the crank pulley, or the flywheel as well as being in the top end on the exhaust side. I have noticed no ill effects, and am not always babying her as I should either.
-Someone broke the driver side mirror :-/
-The passenger side window has stopped working, sure it's a switch. Window was sometimes not working for a while, then just stopped all together unless you are VERY lucky.
Mostly interested in trading it away for a car that is cheaper to keep on the road. The Supra can spend an entire paycheck on gas and insurance alone
I am looking for a 240, bmw's and vw's, a lexus or another Toyota. Would love a Corrado, hah.
I can put some $ on top of the car for the right trade.

Only thing that I am not really liking is the auto. But it would definitely be nice to have a/c and spend less than 300+ a month on gas. I don't know how I do it just going around town, but I have done about 1k miles in the past week and a half :-/ I'll think about it though. On lunch, so I'll post pictures when I get home at around 1am. They will be old before the mirror was broken, but nothing else has really changed. Anyone out there have a running 5 speed 90's bmw, or DSM or nissasn?
