Default 1999 Mazda Miata MX-5 - SOLD

I've got my Miata listed for sale on craigslist, but wanted to post it on a couple of the local car forums also. I'm lazy so I just copied and pasted the other ad below. If you are interested please email me at the email address in the craigslist ad: sale-guwk7-1351046131@craigslist.org

Link to the ad: 1999 Mazda Miata MX-5

1999 Mazda Miata MX-5

Less than 112,000 miles

Silver exterior is in great condition. Paint shines with minimal blemishes.

Black interior is in very good condition, just shows minor wear on side of driver's seat.

Top is also in terrific condition. It is a black top with no rips or tears, and a clean glass rear window.

5-speed manual transmission

Cold A/C

Power windows

Power steering

Power mirrors

Cruise control

AM/FM CD stereo (factory stereo)

Tires are matching BF Goodrich Touring T/As in very good condition. They are on the stock aluminum wheels (very light wheels).

Spark plugs and wires were recently replaced.

Has factory wind blocker (keeps some of the air out when the top is down)

This is a very simple and great little sports car with just the right options. It's a very light, stock, 5-speed roadster.

But I've bought another car and need to sell this one.

Price is somewhat negotiable.

Email me if you have any questions or need any other info. I'll try to get back to you asap.

CAR IS SOLD. THANKS FOR THE INTEREST.
Hokie Jim

Took it down to get an oil change yesterday and the guy said the tires have about 50% of the tread left. Looked like more to me, but I updated the above info, they have plenty of tread left but they are more like 50% instead of "like new" like I originally had put.

Hmm, I can't do that low. I don't need the money, I just need the space. For now it's just parked at the bottom of my driveway and I have to drive around it. I'll go below $5000 but it's gonna be mid/high 4s. It's in great condition, it'll bring that price.

I replaced the slave cylinder the other day. Can't remember if I mentioned that above or not. Now it runs like a champ again.

Updated the link in the first post. Forgot I deleted the original ad when I re-placed it. Same info that is in the first post though.

Any chance you can't get this car out of your mind and you'd be willing to raise your offer a bit?

No problem. I appreciate that the offer is still there. The new car is now registered and the Miata has a 30 day temp tag on it. If I don't have any luck in the next 27 days I might give you a yell back. I really just want it gone, but I didn't want to go that low. Was looking for $4500-ish. Honestly I just want a fair price and that seemed to be it. Everywhere I look shows it over $4000 and many near or over $5000. If $3500 is all it will draw then you might get a call. If I didn't hate Ebay so much I'd stick it on there for $1 and see where it ends up.

Thanks,
Hokie Jim
