Default FS/FT 1990 MAZDA rx7 non turbo 1500$OBO

once again im planning to sell/trade my FC

the car has just over 85k on the chassis, unknown on the motor but i believe it is original. i would like to get somewhere around 1500$ for the car as i have more than twice that into it with the 5sp conversion and all the electronics needed to get it running. i have personally spent many hours working on this car trying to get it into a reliable condition. i did daily it for about a month while my 240sx was down from an accident. so i can be driven it just isn't easy

Will trade for s14 parts. sr20 swap. or some nice wheels. or another car just LMK

heres the lists.
good...
low miles
brand new tps which is a known problem on this car
all guages work!
leather complete interior(includes parcel covers and hatch separater and hatch straps which are rare)
5sp conversion with 4puck sprung hub clutch
working stereo
rubber dash instead of brittle s4 plastic
straight body no major dents
hatch struts work
dark tint
power windows work(but needs switch)
headlights and pop-ups work
fog lights work
s5 aero
integra ls weighted shift knob

bads.
motor runs but doesn't idle consistently
exhaust is complete but a bit leakey
smokes a bit on start up after sitting
needs paint and minor bodywork for dime sized dents
will need a windshield as it has a crack but its not anything that obstucts view
both seats have torn leather. sale will include a black racing seat for the drivers seat sunroof doesn't work and has some rust but can eaisly be remedied with a glass one.

the major thing with this car is that the engine doesn't idle consistently. sometimes it will idle near 3k rpm sometime it will idle at 900 rpm and sometimes it will hunt from 700-1500 and sometimes it will just die out. as far as i know everything else on the engine is in order.

these pictures are from the sale ad i bought it from but the only change is that it now sits on s14 se wheels and doesn't have the front lip

prolly cuz the apex seals are shot on one rotor

no idea why it does not idle. pulls pretty hard apex seals are not shot. did poor man compression test to verify, its possible that it is a side seal. this motor could be original and at this mileage would probably not have been well taken care of(not started frequently enough) and the side seals could have gotten mucked up. once again i do not know enough about the rotary to properly diagnose which is why im selling for so little. the body is perfectly straight and only has a few small no larger than a dime or nickel sized dents. i could easily get 1k for the shell alone as it has all the options and low mileage.

will do my best to get some current pics tomorrow. depends on how late i work.

its normal for rx7s to idle like that...when ur in gear at start up it'll hunt between 700-1500...for the 3000 rpm...its to speed up the warming up process and last about 30 secs
