DESCRIPTION:
this is a 1994 ford ranger with a 2.3L Turbo I-4 from a Thunderbird.
The engine is rebuilt with 5000 miles on the motor. odometer was set back when motor was rebuilt so that's the mileage on the motor. I'll be dead honest, this truck isn't the cleanest thing out there, it could use some cosmetic work, but it makes up for that with how well it runs and drives. overall it needs very little to make it nice. the body in a great shape, with a little prep to the current coat of primer it would be ready to paint. like i said, the truck drives great, boosts healthy and hauls ass. The truck will get some cosmetic help (wiring clean up/interior) soon enough and possibly a smaller turbine housing for a quicker spool.

Trades: looking for 240sx, AE86 or any cool car (RWD preferably)
as far as 240s go, all models are accepted, no automatics please. I'm looking for something with a healthy SR swap, the car only has to be as clean as the the truck.

How much would you sell it for? Doubt you would be interested in a bike, I'm selling it soon.

 

id look at bikes. i value the truck around $3700 or so, the swap is legit, not a hack job.

something ive always watned to do!! what ecu is it running and any idea of how much power it makes? i love these motors and these trucks! the motors were way ahead of their day!! ttt for you!

 

thanks for the words man. TBH i have no idea what ECU the entire swap came from a Thunderbird Turbo coupe, the engine was completely rebuilt before it was put in. im guessing its running the Tbird ecu.

power is yet to be tapped at only 15psi, but i would guesstimate 250/275 wheel. from what i hear/read a healthy 2.3 can take MUCH more boost. cranking this thing to 25 psi with some M/T's, a 75 shot and a driver mod would yield awesome track times.
