Ok so I picked this thing up earlier this week in hopes to restore it to original but the engine I fear will most likely never run and finding parts for it I feel won't be worth the time. These cars are pretty rare now and I don't want to just junk it so I figured I'd put it on a few forum boards to see if anyone needs parts. Anyway, if anyone doesn't know what this is it is a Renault R10 from 1969. The car has a 1.1 liter 4 cylinder water cooled engine, the layout is RR (rear engine rear-wheel drive) with a 4 speed manual transmission. Like I said before the engine I think won't be able to run without some good work to it and I am not up to it at the moment. The car itself is pretty much a non-running shell. If anyone collects these cars the whole thing is available for any parts. To my knowledge everything is there including the original hub caps that go to the (get ready for this) 3-lug wheels. Yes it has 3 lug wheels. Anyway, if anyone needs parts I have them.

There is surface rust on most of the body and some places it has rusted through. The Doors are actually in pretty good shape however, they have some surface rust on them but other then that the windows in the front both roll down (but not very easily) and the windows in the back (another cool thing about this car) actually slide foward to open and they still slide as well. The windshield is cracked but the rear glass however is still perfect.

If anyone actually need parts just Post here or PM me and I will pull it for you and even send pictures of it so you can see it.

If by the very offchance someone wants the entire car, I may consider selling it outright. The car is a really reall cool car, like I said before, it's rear engine rear wheel drive, has 3 lug wheels, the back windows slide foward. I wanted to keep the car and restore it and it was going to be my GF's first car but we don't have the time at the moment. The thing only weighs 792 kg = 1742.4 lbs. It would be an amazing project car if someone were to K20 this car.

most of the old renualt models came in 3 lug that crazy they have a lot of those in colombia

 

^^ I rescued it from literally rusting away in a field out in plant city. I knew that these cars were very rare so I took a chance at it. I still might keep it seeing as we might be able to still resurrect it but I still need to break into the motor. Anyway, bump...
