v8 6 speed BMW for trade
Hi all I have a BMW 540i 6 speed that I have modded properly and would like to trade. Car has a 32 valve dual overhead cam V8 and a 6speed manual trans. I am a BMW CCA member and this is my 11th BMW. As a result all the maintainance is up to date and all the typical issues have been addressed (control arm bushings, cooling system, dashboard pixels, etc) All fluids are fresh and all oils are synthetic (Redline in trans and diff and Mobil 1 in motor). I have upgraded the car with the following:
Bilstein Sport shocks and H&R springs
Dinan Exhaust and CAI (CAI is a replica)
Off road H pipe
M3 short shifter
M5 front bumper and mirrors (painted but not installed yet)
M5 moldings
Aftermarket amp, subwoofer and speakers (Kicker,Polk Audio)
Updated front and rear lights -looks like the later model car with 6K HID headlights and LED tails
Staggered MK motorsports wheels- 18x8 and 18x10
Hardwired for Valentine 1
Car has 127K miles on the clock and runs quite strongly- pulls hard and sounds amazing at full throttle, but still maintain a very quiet cruise volume and will return 26 MPG on the highway if driven responsibly.
I am looking to trade this car for a mid size automatic upscale Japanese sedan as I am traveling quite a bit for work and would like somthing a bit easier to maneuver in stop and go traffic. TL, GS, G35 or somthing along those lines. I would put a real world value on my car at 10K and would ask that if you have an interest you please apply the same real world logic to the value of your car.
