no its not an lt1 but thanks for playing. his motor is throttle body injected(tbi). even if it was tpi it would not be an lt1 thats mid 90's. The v6 chassis is really no different then a v8 chassis. this year came with a 4.3 v6 which bolts in and uses the same transmission and suspension as a v8 car. the only thing different is the springs arent quite as stiff ive done many v6 to v8 swaps. this car is probably perfectly capable of doing any normal driving and would be no way unsafe with a v8 in it as long as the lift itself isnt hacked up. more then likley it has lift springs in it as thats all you really need for a caprice to clear 24's.

I didn't say anything bad about this car but there are more differences than springs. The thickness of the a arms is a substantial amount. I didn't say it couldn't be driven I said I would want to know if it was done right. I was somewhat interested in the car until you blew me off to act like Im stupid.

Look man, The car is nice. I didn't mean to steer anyone away from buying it. Im just saying to let us know what was done. My boy Jerry does more of these lifts than anyone in Pinellas so Ive seen some cars come in hacked and had wheels pass em on 275. If it was done right then great, Its clean. As I said, I was interested.
