Default 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 (tastefully modded)

I'm toying with the idea of selling my bike. I could use the money to put towards a house more than a toy right now.

2003 Kawasaki Z1000. The bike has ~9500 miles on it and is in very good condition. The mileage may vary a bit as I still commute to work with it occasionally. The valves were checked and all were in spec at ~8900 miles. At that time, a new valve cover gasket and oil and filter change was completed as well as a fresh set of plugs. The chain and sprockets are still the factory pieces and are in great condition. The bike is fuel injected and it runs and rides perfectly without any problems. I mainly use the bike for commuting back and forth to work and small weekend cruises and I get ~40mpg while doing so. The upright seating position is much more comfortable than a full super sport bike and doesn't put any strain on your wrists

I have upgraded the suspension both front and rear with forks, rear shock, and front calipers from low mileage Ninja 600RR (636) parts. At the time, HEL stainless steel individual front lines were also added to eliminate the factory cross over brake line system and the system was filled with ATE Super Blue brake fluid. This upgrade really completes this great street bike. The new suspension is completely adjustable in the front and rear and provides a much better ride with increased stability and the benefit of increased front braking performance. Other modifications to the bike include Pazzo short levers, both frame and case sliders, KTM Super Duke Mirrors, Oneal CR Low bars, shortened 4-1 Muzzy exhaust, a Dynojet power commander PC-III USB fuel control module, air box lid mod and K&N filter, LED turn signals, and Black Gauge Face. The Bike also has Michelin Pilot Power tires front and rear. The rear tire is almost new and the front is at ~40 to 50%.

The bike does have a couple of small chips and dings on its right side from falling over in my garage. Luckily the previous owners Porsche was there to catch it!!!! The reason it fell over was because it got a nail in its rear tire and the tire went flat. So it now has an almost new rear tire on it with about 450 miles on it. I guess it just wasn't my day. Anyway, The chips are pretty small and can be seen in the pictures. The 2 small dimples in the tank can also been seen in the picture and are about the size of an inverted pimple. The dings could probably be removed with paint less dent removal techniques.

$4500 FIRM

I'll pay good money to trade out rims with you. I have all black stock 04 636 rims. PM me please and let me know if you are willing to do so. Or I will trade my car for your bike and cash:
