1999 BMW 540i MTECH (6-Speed)
Alright, I have a 1999 BMW 540i with an M-TECH package:
~94k Miles
4.4L V8 Engine
6 Speed Manual Transmission
Power EVERYTHING
Parking Assist
Offset Wheels
Computer Controlled Traction Control (can be turned off by hitting a button)
GPS Navigation System
6 CD Changer
Auto-dimming Mirrors
Privacy Shades from the B-Pillar, on back
And everything else you would expect from a performance-luxury BMW
I wish I could relay to people how well this vehicle handles, it is the smoothest car I have ever driven (I have driven many Corvettes and Mustangs and a couple nicer Mercedes). When turning a corner at higher speeds it feels as if the road is a sticky fly trap gripping the tires so well. Besides excellent traction and cornering ability, this car is very fast. With about 324ft/lbs of torque and excellent gearing, this car will firmly place you and your passengers in to the seats. But performance isn't the only plus on this vehicle. I achieve about 19 mpg around the city (I don't drive slow), and I have reached 26 mpg on my trips from Orlando to St. Petersburg. I owe less than $12k on this car and I would LOVE to keep her. The thing is, me and my father signed the loan when I was working a well paying job, shortly after I lost my job due to severe downsizing (I blame the economy, but who doesn't?). Ever since I lost my job I have been spending most of what I make from a lesser paying job on payments and maintenance as I am a freak about maintaining my vehicles. I want to move in with my girlfriend up in Orlando and go back to school. She already owns a vehicle so I just really don't NEED this BMW. So, unfortunately I am selling her. It brings pain to my heart and a tear to my eye as I am in love with her (the car... er... AND my girlfriend). I am asking $13,000 for the vehicle which will pay her off, get the buyer the title and give me a small amount of cash to help me move and give me a start to save for another car or motorcycle. So, now that you have heard my life story BUY MY CAR!
