***FS/FT: 1999 Mustang GT Convertible***
My 1999 Ford Mustang GT
4.6L V8, 5 speed manual
Rio Red Exterior, Dark Charcoal Leather, Black Top
103k miles, and growing, it is my DD
Some modifications, including,
Visual:
Mach 1 Grill delete kit
’01 and up black headlight housings
8000k HID’s single beam headlight and foglight
17x8 Bullitt rims, Fuzion HRi 245/45 front(75% life), Sumitomo 245/45 rear(25%)
Sony CD/MP3 player, with wiring for system in trunk
Brand new Black convertible top in August 2007.
Motor/Performance:
K&N filter
Aluminum crossover Intake Manifold
BBK Offroad X pipe
Weld In Flowmaster 40’s
Rebuilt Rear End (All new bearings and shims) Ratech kit used
Brand new Rotors and Ceramic Pads all the way around
King Cobra Clutch (Put on shortly after I bought it and still grabs great)
Pro 5.0 short shifter, with Billet shift knob
Diablosport Tuner, canned tune installed, rear O2’s turned off
Only Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil and filters, 5w30
Suspension:
KYB GR2 shocks and struts
UPR 4 Bolt Caster Camber Plates
Vogtland Convertible Springs (Progressive Rate)
Aligned at Firestone
The Bad:
Passenger Fender has dime sized spot of clear coat off.
Front bumper cover has obvious chips and rock pits, as does the hood.
The car is becoming more and more impractical for me to have, I drive 18 miles one way from Holiday to Clearwater for my work. I am also a college student and will be going into the police academy next fall or so. It is my DD as I don’t have another car to drive. I need something more practical and I actually prefer a Coupe Mustang to a convertible.
The car dynoed at 239/270 at Coastal with only midpipe, mufflers and K&N. I have never taken it to the track. The A/C is freezing cold (I use it rarely) and she is extremely fun to drive. I would be happy to answer questions and email/post pictures once I can find my camera, but I have a few pictures.
Things I am looking for in trade are only 93-02 6 speed V8 Fbodies and 96-01 Cobra's...
