ok, well in the technical world i've never seen where it says "He who shall do a motor swap will increase his cars value by xx%"

well then u buy A SI one an u buy a TYPE R SWAP AN PUT IN YOUR CAR LETS SEE HOW MUCH U SPEND ^^^ !!! CAUSE I DID SPEND 12K ON MY CAR HELLO !!

yeah i may spend 12k but i wouldnt go into it thinking i'be be able to get it back out. what you spend on cars is a lost cause typically, cars arent investments (normally). i cant spend 20k on building a EG hatch with a k20 and shit and expect to ask for 20k out of it. i dont care how clean or how immaculate it is.
you take your into a dealer and they dont give 2 shits whats done to it, its still a civic, i'll take my civic and get what i paid because its stock, you on the other hand will lose money...
i guess i'm like the only person on TR that gets this concept.
you, or someone, will only pay the premium IF they know, understand, and have proof of the work done and so forth...

the value of a car with a swap does go up, you cant say you get a stock EK with a single cam is worth more than one with a DOHC swap, NOT TO A DEALER but to any one else, ofcourse the one with the swap will be more, ofcourse you cannot EXPECT to get what ever you spend on it back but you will get some

i'm saying that this Si is not worth 12k. KBB stock with 125k on it says excellent is 7500 and fair is only 6k. i dont think the motor really cost him 6k?

omfg.......thats a super clean car.ive been thinking about doing a type r swap on mine.looking at yours i can just picture what it looks like.same color w/wing etc...dude i hope you get what you want for it.hell,id trade you my si just so i wouldnt have to get my hands dirty.lol........very,very nicely done.rep to you.
