Default 1992 240sx SE Coupe - $2000

It has a "rebuilt" title, because the previous owner replaced the dashboard in the interest of finding one with no cracks (it has some now, but it's minor). However, it has not been in any serious accidents; only a minor fender bender. When I bought this car, the motor had been rebuilt. Since then, electrical problems have started, so the car runs decently, but not perfectly. It shouldn't take much to fix the problems, but I have neither the money nor the time.

However, the engine is not bad; it's actually quite a quick, powerful engine, when not being held back by electrical interference. There are times when the car will break out of its slump and it feels just like the day I got it. So the engine is not bad in any way; it's just being held back. I've put about 20,000 miles on the car since the engine was rebuilt, so the mileage is relatively low.

This car is such a fun daily driver when it's in good condition; it can also be the perfect project car for someone who wants to swap in a better engine. The chassis itself is in great shape; even though it has about 184,000 miles on it, there's little body roll and/or creaking.

The good:
Nissan 350Z Blue paint
Stock 240sx SE Rims
Aftermarket intake (original intake optional)
Stage 1 Clutch
Very good transmission
Great tires
Working sunroof
Skunk 2 Springs
New spark plugs/wires
2 electric fans - on switch
S14 Seats
Tenzo-R Wheel with hub
Working Heads-Up Display

The bad:
Scratch/rust on trunk
Paint peeling on rear bumper
Electrical issues
Dashboard cracks

All in all, this car has incredible potential and I wish I didn't have to get rid of it, but I really need the money for college. The car is very sleek and stylish, and the interior is very clean. The S14 seats (which are infinitely better than S13 seats) alone cost me $500, but I'm throwing them in for free. $2000 OBO

the price seems about right, i would say the problem sounds like a vacuum leak though...

There are pics in the craigslist post. A vacuum leak was something I was considering from the beginning, but I took it to Driven Concepts, and they said they couldn't find any vacuum leaks. Another thing I've noticed recently is that the MAF starts to slide away from the rest of the intake, which is when it starts running roughly. When you push it on fully, it seems to run a lot better. I said the electrical issues shouldn't cost too much because as far as I can tell, they're not that serious. It's not like the wiring harness is dead or something. There just seem to be a few shorts in certain places.
