FS 1991 Lexus LS400 "VIP Project"
Up for sale is my 'VIP' project 1991 Lexus LS400 V8. It has 170,XXX miles on it and runs strong.
The car recently had a full tune up which included:
-Spark plugs and wires
-Oil change
-Coolant flush
-New valve cover seals and oil pan seal.
-New water pump
Also done was the timing belt as i wanted to be on the save side due to these cars having issues with them on higher mileage motors. Which means all front seals were change too, plus timing belt tensioners were changed aswell.
One big thing that was done to the car when i first got it, a couple of months ago, was a full paint job.
All body work and paint was done in house at our shop, DRIVEN CONCEPTS.
We got rid of the two-tone and went with Toyota 209 Black with silver metallic. This same paint can be found on the newer GS300s, Tundras and the Matrix.
The rear emblems and antenna were shaved and the front grill is paint the same as the rest of the car.
Other mods that are done to the car include:
-20" staggered MMR HR-3 wheels
-Tokico shocks
-Tanabe DF210 lowering springs
As far as the interior goes, it will need some work as it has rips in the front seats and arm rest. This is due to the car sitting on the previous owners driveway for the past two years with no protection from the sun.
