1988 CRX HF with B18A1 LS swap.
1988 CRX HF with B18A1 LS swap.
selling my long time project.
1988 CRX HF. The lightest CRXs, the 1988 HF, weighed at 1,800 lbs.
Engine: 91 Acura Integra 1.8L DOHC B18A1 with approx, 137,xxx miles. doesn't smoke, knocks, or burn oil. at time of swap I replaced the following parts:
new timing belt.
new timing belt tensioner.
new water pump.
new rear and front main seals.
new valve cover gasket.
new cam seals.
new oil pan gasket.
rebuild exedy clutch with type R flywheel.
2000 Acura Integra LS intake manifold.
2000 Acura Integra LS exhaust manifold 4-2-1.
2000 Acura Integra LS cams.
1999 OBD2 LS engine valve cover.
Battery is off of a Electric wheel chair. I had it for 2 years in the car with no issues at all. I got it for free, and it works fine.
I have converted it to OBD1 without a OBD to OBD1 conversion harness. Back then when those harness were like $175.00. I was able to convert it my self to OBD1. I had many swap in this CRX. So it's already wired for VTEC, and other sensors. This CRX currently runs off a 94 Acura Integra ECU P75.
Custom Aluminum AZ FAB mounts with Hasport street urethane durameter bushings (62A).
Stock CRX Si air box with K&N filter.
Transmission: 91 Integra LS S1. no grinds in any gears.
New L and R cv axles.
Walboro 255LPH fuel pump.
AEM fuel pressure regulator.
Suspension:
Tokico blue with H&R springs.
Ingalls ball joint front caber kit.
SPC rear camber kit.
Full-Race traction bars.
Exhaust: Buddy Club Spec 2 exhaust. Omni power High flow cat.
Interior: Black interion from a 1991 CRX Si. Nissan sentra cup holder. CRX Si driver side seat. 1988 CRX Si door panels. 1991 CRX Si gauge Cluster.
Exterior: RS wing west body kit. carbon fiber hood. APC headlights. 1991 CRX Si tail lights. 1991 CRX Si Special edition Fog lights.
Brakes: rear disk brakes off of a 91 Acura Integra.
Brake booster and master cylinder from a 91 Acura integra, with 4040 proportioning valve.
Reason for selling: leaks water through the hatch. I don't have time to fix that. I have to park it under a canopy evry time it rains( sux). I bought the car with body kit on and wasn't painted or installed good. it got involve in a car accident about 3 months ago. and it got hit by the rear quarter panel. and then sum beach backed in to the right headlight, broke the turn signal, damaged the fog light a bit, and pushed the headlight bucket, and latch support a bit. and 2 to 3 years ago another beach missed a stop sign, and hit between the driver side fender and door.
If I had the time and funds I would put back the factory bumpers. and rip the body kit off. Fix the body damage, and Boost the LS motor. the traction bars are one step ahead, because it will help to get a half size EG radiator, and more space for a bigger turbo.
I'll take $2,500.00 OBO. Pm if interested.

the cup holder does work. but a full cup will spill on the radio, because is tilted. and that day I got two nissan sentra cup holders. I got a 94 and a 97. I don't remember which I have on my crx. installing is very easy. I'll take pics tomorrow.
